This is my first blog of 2010. I have a few New Years resolutions. First, I was awed at how many community children fall through the cracks. I resolve to start a new charity for Bowmanville, ON Canada "Community Kids 2010". The funding will be obtained from my treat fund. Basically, everytime I want to purchase "junk food (pop, chips, candy bars or any non nutritious food item) I will tally the money I would have spent for the non necessary food item.  I will post every Monday the amount of funds applied to the "Community Kids" charity. At the end of 2010, December 15, 2010, I will present the charity amount to the local salvation army corp. Get ready, I start 5 January 2010.  Oh, just and FYI, I do not have a household of junk food at this time.  I can't cheat (: And I have a small booklet to record items and cost to carry for the next 344 days. 

The second resolution I resolve to initiate is continue a on-going genealogy project I shelved over a year ago.The genealogy project includes: Moore/Davis clan East Durham; Ducharme/Fournier clan Nippising, Lepage clan Buckingham Quebec.  I resolve to scrapbook pictures that I have sitting on my desk. I will journal items and post photos. I set the date 1 December 2010 to complete scrapbook pages of the current information I have with photos.

Wow, I will be busy.  I hope you resolve to learn about your history and help the local community for the present and  future.
